FuranFlex is the only non destructive procedure with which chimneys of any shape, size or length can be lined with a corrosion proof, flame and heat resistant, air tight tube made of a composite material with the solidity of steel without any joints. It is the ideal solution for all domestic and commercial chimney lining, flue lining and ducting repairs.
FuranFlex chimney lining is a revolutionary chimney lining system, which uses a glass fibre reinforced thermo setting resin. The FuranFlex lining is totally gas and water tight, is guaranteed for 25 years against corrosion and with a projected lifespan of well in excess of 100 years.
FuranFlex has been used to line chimneys in domestic, commercial and listed buildings allowing the chimneys into using large open fires without the requirement of reducing the fire openings or fitting chimney fans. It has also been used to line existing chimneys to allow condensing and high efficiency appliances to be fitted, maximising the cross sectional area of the chimney.
FuranFlex has been used to line large inglenook fireplaces to ensure the chimney characteristics are not altered ensuring the fires work safely.

The installation is clean and quick, usually performed and completed within one day.
THE PROCESS:
 Firstly, the chimney is swept and any debris is removed
The chimney then has a CCTV inspection to check for the route and for any bends
The FuranFlex lining is then installed into the chimney from the top of the flue
Adaptors and any appliance connectors are then fitted to the FuranFlex
The FuranFlex liner is then inflated with air
The steam generators are then connected and the liner “steamed”
The steaming process takes between 1-3 hours after which time the FuranFlex lining has set
The adaptors are then removed and the FuranFlex lining is trimmed at each end
The appliance can then be connected to the lining, commissioned and returned to service
